Federal agencies that have partnered with Limestone Valley include U.S.D.A. Farm Services Agency (FSA), U.S.D.A. Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), U.S.D.A. Rural Development, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and the U.S. Forest Service (USFS).
State entities that have served as partners include the Georgia Association of Regional Commissions, Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Georgia Department of Public Health, the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD), the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission (GSWCC), and the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension.
Other partners have included 4-H, the Blue Ridge Mountain Soil and Water Conservation District, Boy Scouts of America, Calhoun Utilities, Catoosa Soil and Water Conservation District, Conasauga River Alliance, Coosa River Soil and Water Conservation District, Dalton State College, Dalton Utilities, Georgia Adopt A Stream, Keep Dalton-Whitfield Beautiful, Limestone Valley Soil and Water Conservation District, National Association of Counties (NACo), National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NWWF), New Echota Rivers Alliance, Prater’s Mill Foundation, Southern Company, South Chickamauga Creek Greenway Alliance (SCCGA), Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute (TNACI), Tennessee River Rescue, Tennessee Valley Canoe and Kayak Club (TVCC), The Nature Conservancy (TNC), University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), Upper Etowah River Alliance (UERA), and Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC), as well as other RC&D Councils and the cities and counties within our eleven county area.
